I remember going to the mall before the renovations during my childhood year. It was a magical place to be. Galaxy used to be MUCH bigger and there used to be many more stores and even some cool restaurants.

I went to the mall a lot when I was little with my family I remember seeing everything come and go change leave and never come back I even remember before there was McDonald’s. There was a A&W and now McDonald’s is gone. I never thought I’d see them close. And the movie theatre used to have 12 cinemas now it’s down to six Last year and a couple of years ago, I wanted to use the party room at the Galaxy theatre for my little brother‘s birthday, but it was closed for renovations. Speaking of galaxy theater, I am still looking for my copy of the galaxy theatre 2000 VHS tape that’s what started me archiving videotapes. There was always a movie theatre there next to a grocery store from what I understand it used to be called Station, Mall Cinemas, and then Cineplex bought it and renamed it to galaxy Odeon. And of course, bulk barn was there and now it’s the arcade. I miss the old arcade where Dollarama now sits it was so big and so bright because of the sunlight. So from what I understand about the videotape surprise I can’t find a copy of it but everybody was mailed a copy of this 30 minute advertisement, tape saying what’s coming to galaxy Cinemas when they open. @@GROUPGALAXYEntertainment All of those are true! Indeed, there used to be McDonalds, Bulk Barn, and even a grocery store! I even remember the arcade as well which got moved. There is still a piece of history that still remains to the day: GameStop (formerly EB Games, just a rebrand as only the sign has changed). It still has a working CRT TV advertising new video game releases. It's probably the last CRT TV in the mall that is still operational. There are only a few stores left from my childhood years that are still operating. Ricardo's Pizzas still has the original board for the logo sign, many others got the board replaced. I really miss Sears and Zellers. Even Walmart. The closure of Walmart left me really saddened as I used to walk there to buy groceries as I don't have a car, even today. I wish the best of luck in you retrieving the VHS tape though!

So far just the home improvement stuff I found already I already uploaded. I did find some more MCTV stuff but no sports related stuff. Long funny story about that. there is a weird glitch on my side and it would not let me post it as a Premiere originally so I thought my tags were too long ( because on mobile it doesn't tell you if you're over the number of text allowed in tags like it does on PC) so I kept erasing things and then I just listed it as public and it said premiering so I'm like whatever and then I couldn't watch it I'm here 3 minutes late but I already got seven views. Lol
