One good thing about Corona: I've been mad busy in the studio and got several new Steppers Dubs ready. Come check 'em.

Hey man, i need help, i boght USB behringer xenyx x1222 mixer, and i cant connect it to fl studio(DAW) for DUB MIXING ,do i need multi audio interface or converter?on my mixer is written A/D&D/A converter ,i dont know what that would be for, some people said that i need interface and some said converter? Wich one it is? I no want to buy wrong one
@StilettoFM3 жыл бұрын
Hey, this is something that I had confusion with when I first started out. I'm pretty sure what you want/expect from the mixer is for you to be able to send audio to/from each individual channel on the mixer to/from the DAW. The thing is, most mixers just send out a stereo output. What you need is a Multitrack mixer. Which kind of acts like an audio interface and a mixer at the same time. Something like the one in the video is an example of a multitrack mixer. The smaller version of the one in the video is the "Soundcraft Signature 12 MTK" ...Make sure you choose the MTK one, thats the multitrack and I think that's what you want. Hope this helps

@@StilettoFM thanks for the help brother,but i could just buy multi audio interface right? 8in 8out and connect it to daws outputs while interfaces outputs are connected to mixers channels
@StilettoFM3 жыл бұрын
@@nikskush5648 No prob. It really depends on the specific gear. The line in plugs on the audio interface is either input or output...it doesn't travel both ways. So yes you could go from multiple outputs on audio interface if it has them into each channel on the mixer but still you are stuck with the issue of recording it all. You still would only be getting a stereo mix of your entire jam back into the DAW. This can work...but it will not allow you to finely edit each channel and touch them up
@StilettoFM3 жыл бұрын
@@nikskush5648 actually I am thinking about how this would work on a MTK as well...sending audio from the DAW and then back in while recording each individual channel and Idk if that can be done. You might be good with your idea...it can all get confusing lol I would just really do research before buying gear. good luck!

How did you run your FX pedals through the aux channels? Got the same desk. Tough tune here.. respect
@trulerecords1453 жыл бұрын
I send to the FX via the aux and return them back into channels on the desk so I can control the levels and send the effected signal to other effects
