I’m coming up 36. Used to listen to this at the age of 8 in a tent in my garden by myself taping it of bbc radio 1 at about midnight. Was cool as f then, and still is, opened up my mind to other possibilities of music and sound too . The new stuff to me is evolving. What I really like about modern d&b is the swing that is now more often being added. Also the better technology of today in making more modern d&b is freaking insane. Some of the new bass lines (in my opinion) can be even more rhythmical than the drums. Old school is insane but also new school is too. Personally I like both. I’m sure it will evolve even further into something us millennials can’t even comprehend at this point in time... (I’ve had a few spliffs and red stripes sooooi I wrote this) peace and love to all jungleists and music listeners/makers of all kinds. I love y’all 👽💚🖤🤘🏼
