I'd like to add to that info, yes you should itemize properly to counter enemy team comp but you should also keep in mind that certain heroes have *CORE ITEMS* . These core items are non negotiable and that hero should have those items regardless of the matchup. For example - demon hunter+golden staff+corrosion scythe are core items for Claude and you should build them every time you play him. This however changes when you play tanks as most of the tanks don't have any must have items, so you can start building according to the enemy lineup right from minute 1. I'd suggest starting with a magic def item as magic dmg hits harder than physical dmg in the early to mid stages of the game, ofc there are exceptions like cecilion, harith, etc so you'll have to adjust accordingly. I can add more info if someone needs it. Feel free to ask.

@@mr.google7364 @mr.google7364 okay ask me what you want to know and I'll try my best to explain it. As for this comment I'll further elaborate itemization in the early game. As a tank you shouldn't build full items in the earlier stages. Sounds counter intuitive no? But it is the most efficient way to ensure that you have a well rounded defence. For example let's say you want to build radiant Armor and antique cuirass, first build silence robe(the component required for building Athena and radiant), then build dreadnought Armor(component for antique cuirass). This way you will have a balance of both and you can complete the items when you have enough gold in the mid-late stages. This obviously is not a must do thing, you can build the whole item if the enemy team has let's say 3 or more heroes dealing magic dmg. The same applies for dmg heroes too, let's say you wanna buy a blade of heptaseas or hunter strike, build fury hammer first and then complete the item. If you're building blade of despair build two legion swords then complete the whole thing. This way you get most of the stats even before completing the item.

Damage reduction doesn't counter true damage at all, so against Alpha, X.Borg, Thamuz, I would prefer Bruteforce Breastplate as second item or Hunter's Strike (maybe even Sky Piercer, depending on how tanky they are, because it compliments YZ's passive well). I usually use: Boots depending on enemy War Axe Bruteforce Queen's Wings Hunter's Strike/Oracle Defense item (Later I sell my boots at late game and aside from War Axe, Bruteforce and Queen's Wings, I go for 2 defense items and Twilight armor.) Late game Layla has no chance to melt you. And for my emblem: Fighter: Mov speed/penetration Festival of Blood Brave Smite

He is no longer that tanky anymore, his playstyle tilts more to kiting. Get support emblem for the 10% CD and hp refund from healing effect. Build thunderbelt, guardian, bruteforce, oracle, immortal. Remember, you aren't a damage soaker for 1v5 anymore, but with that build you can solo kill enemy mage / mm with the constant stun from 30% CDR. Engage when enemy is 1 or 2, disengage once more enemies come in.

If our team comp is MM, Mage, Assassin, Healer, and only have YZ as a Front liner. 1. *Tough Boots* 2. *War axe* 2.5 against attackspeed heroes like , Sun, Zilong, Minsi who dont high sustain buy *Black Ice Shield* (the shield that can be upgraded to Dominance Ice. The shield reduces attackspeed by 90% whereas Dominance ice reduces only 80%, so dont upgrade it yet) 3. *Queen's wings* (for base spellvamp, low HP Damage reduction and -2sec cd and more damage with lower HP, meaning higher spellvamp) 4. *Brute Force Breastplate* (for bonus damage, movement speed and more CC reduction) 5. *Dominance Ice* (at this point of the game your enemies probably have Lifesteal/Spellvamps) 6. *Flex* if your team is dominating go Oracle, if their mage is Dominating Buy Athena for 4rth Item. And move Brute force to 5th. This build have 40% CD reduction since you need to spam skills with YZ.

as a YZ player, i like going tanky build since it makes you last longer on teamfight, and you would most likely survive a 1v5. My full build: Warrior/Tough boots, War axe, Dominance ice, Oracle, Queen's Wings, and Brute Force Chestplate. On late game, i like to sell both of my boots and dominance ice (or only boots), then replace them with either antique quirass + Athena's shield or Antique quirass + Radiant armor, or only athena's shield / radiant armor if i only sell my boots.

Don't worry because in the early game,Khaleed is the best choice to fight yu zhong because Khaleed have a great mobility and healing skill and passive and if yu zhong activate his passive just use Khaleed ult and yu zhong passive will dissappear and also always play aggressive in the early game so you have a good chance winning in the early against yu zhong and for late game i remind you to not trying to 1v1 yu zhong instead target enemy backline like mage,marksman and assasin.

That build can easily be shredded my magic damage heroes . I'd replace warrior boots with tough boots , and dominance ice is a situational item which isn't necessary unless you're up against high heal or high shield heroes m

Most heroes buy lifesteal/spellvamp. Its necessary for late game. I agree that this build can be shredded by Mage. Thats why your playstyle revolves around their mage's movements, you can always go in with no problem with YZ anyways. Queen's Wings helps a lot not to get one shot by mages even without Magic Res items.
