Man, it’s such a well balanced creation of form and function. If you had the means to buy this and just stuck it on display it would be viewed and pondered as art. But then, it was engineered to be on the road or track to be experienced. That engine lid though, the fit and finish, the paint decision with the lacquered raw carbon is perfection for this build. I love the fact that there are no extreme, exaggerated elements. No wide body nor massive tail or polarising colour. But looking closer the carefully considered and crafted elements begin to reveal themselves.

When you consider other well-known air-cooled 911 restomods are going for 1 million plus, 400 grand is honestly a bargain. Especially with the knowledge and integrity of this track ready, road legal, gorgeous build.
@sebastiankaiser51658 ай бұрын
You pay the 1 milli for the Singer name and bragging rights. This ain‘t no Singer, it‘s basically a tuner track rat. A very, very, very nice one but still. 400k puts you in 964/993 RS/Cup territory, those are original P cars with actual race homologation. Though sell.

If I had the money and needed a street legal track car, I would be all over this. Without the A/C and sound deadening it wouldn't be something I would want to drive much in the summer but for some track days with the local Porsche owners and an occasional cars and coffee on a Saturday morning, it would be a fun car and it's extremely unique in the way it was put together. Would love to have this in my garage for some weekend fun.

What a great build with great attention to detail! That said it probably worth 150k-175k. Its hard to part with such a defining piece of life hence the retail like cost to buy. What is actually a shame is that it won't be enjoyed since it can't be sold to someone who would appreciate it for craftsmanship & heritage. Not a bash on the owner by any means it is truly a marvelous car but like he said its time to move on.

I have been working at the porsche dealership for the last few months now and what I can tell you is that there WILL be someone who will pay 400k for a car like this. If cars like the 911 S/T is sold out before they even got built, this car will definitely have a market. I honestly think branching out into older air cooled 911 will be a lucrative business venture because the purists are looking for the most distilled porsche experience and this car is it.
