For how long one has to pay for baas. Let's say, one drives 1lakh km in 3-5 years and has already paid the cost of battery, will be be charged per km indefinitely or the loan for baas gets over by that time?

Baas will be till the time take cover the 3.5 lakh and interest of it. For one financer it's 8 years

Majorly speaking : it's restricted to the 1st owner. Also, incase of any accident, the battery should not get damaged. Else warranty will not cover it (insurance can, as per insurance terms)

Ye toh Halki seltos se bhi badi lagri hai...Baas is actually a good option. It save on the upfront cost and get a decent car for 10-11 lakhs. It's a good option for those who want to test out an EV without a big investment.

You missed one point, after 1500 km, no battery rental (3.5 Rs/Km) for that month. So only, 1 Rs/km cost after 1500 km. and even 1 Rs/km is free for 1 year. wonderful scheme, especially for cab drivers.

Negative : MG has officially said this scheme is not open to cab drivers / fleet owners / commercial vehicles. Only for private users..

Nice explanation @bunny, but with new financers whom we have never heard off and it sounds odd why would renowned banks aren't backing this scheme. If we sale the car after 5 years, then the second owner have 3 years of battery warranty left, in that case what's the point in selling the car, better take the buy back offer from MG, but then do we need to buy another car from MG or can we get the 60% value in form of credit to our bank account? The savings can be even more than what you predicted because of 1st year charging will be billed to MG directly.

Why company is not providing long range above 500 km. Claim. And real running 450 km. I will be interested only with atleast 58 kw battery which will give at least 450 km. In reality. In foreign country 58 kw battery is available

⁠@@backtoroots6665you need to compare it with Curvv, because Windsor is slightly bigger than Curvv…and that 5 Star safety doesn’t matter above if you are travelling above 64 Kmph, i stay near Mumbai Bangalore highway in Pune, and i have seen countless Tata car owners crushed to death on that highway…even a Harrier owner didn’t survived…! Safety depends on the driver rather than a car. A good driver in a unsafe car is more likely to be safer than a bad driver in a safe car…!
