I think this version sounds amazing, it's great to see how they can transform their super charged electric versions into more intimate, softer yet powerful versions. These lads have a great future waiting for them, I'm completely sure about that

Unfortunately they come across as tired of playing this song. It's such a great song, I'm sure they've had to perform it so often that it's just a boring chore for them anymore, and in this clip they seem unenthused, and they don't bother to go at it with the eager chops and oomph found on the album version.

I mean it IS acoustic and missing 3 5ths of the band (which produced the version u say was more enthusiastic and punchier) but your point is def legit. After I came upon this kinda randomly and obviously loved it, I tried listening to some of their other stuff and can’t find any other one of their tunes that gives me the juice that this one does. You all know what I’m sayin, when a tune , or just a chorus or a verse even, gives you the tingles. In ur gut, in ur throat. A “buzz”, and def physical for sure. This tune delivers that for me at a few points in the song, some of those points are a reaction to something they did musically, others are from some of the lyrics, while still another few are from something they did vocally. Can’t find that in any of their other tunes so far anyway and I’ve not listened to all of em. This tune I’m hitting the a “back” button twice and also listening to other versions (like this one) any time I come In here to look it up and listen to it. The other tunes? I find myself not even letting them play to the end before skipping them:(

@p2pportal The entire album, You Deserve Love, from which this song comes is excellent! Seriously, this was the first song I ever heard from them, and I was immediately intrigued and found that album-- I couldn't stop playing the whole thing for around 2 years straight! Plus, their earlier stuff, previous albums, contain some great nuggets too! They finally just released a new album this year, a few months ago, after a 3 year hiatus. It's good stuff but I still prefer You Deserve Love.

​@p2pportal I do know what you mean, though. Certain songs just hit you just right. Their song, "Raw" also does it for me, the album version. So does "Little Silver Cross" and "Ring." Also "1F." I'd link it for you but KZbin won't allow it, so I'll just say type White Reaper Full Set SXSW 2018 into search, and enjoy. The opening song, "Wolftrap Hotel" kicks ass and the energy overall throughout the set is so good and gutsy
