I was planning to study my lessons tonight so I played some chill songs on my spotify playlist and it was on shuffle mode, and this song suddenly played. I've been listening to this song for quite some time now and it is my favorite 92914 track. But then I was only able to comprehend the meaning of the song now, so I figured that maybe I should share it here in the comments section. I interpreted it as someone who has lost the love for life and the will to keep going. It was all darkness and this person felt so lost, until he/she suddenly found this person who gave light to his/her life. "All of a sudden, there were you." A starlight; shining so brightly, but one that is difficult to reach, someone you can only admire from afar. This feeling sparked out of nowhere; in the midst of the chaos of things. It was unexpected. It was all so sudden. This person started to see the beauty there is in this life and learned to appreciate how it truly is. But then when this person finally found the joy and beauty of life, it was already too late and there was no more time left for them. "I've got no time. I've got nowhere to go." It was just a quick glimpse and a short taste of euphoria. Because the moment he/she found a reason to live again, it was already time to leave this world. And all that's left is the hope and yearning to come back for that person, as it says in the lyrics, "I'm coming back to you." But time is something that is very hard to compete with, so this person is just hoping to have the chance to love this person again. Perhaps in another life...

I'm currently in that strange moment of life where I feel like I've lost myself. Every once in a while I get a glimpse of or a small reminder of my old self, or my more whole balanced feeling self. I've been trying to come back to me or grow through whatever stage this is. But it does feel like I wonder if I'll make it before the sun sets. So this song feels more like a love song to myself. =)
