I think Rick found Michonne attractive as soon as he met her and he was totally checking her out throughout season 3. But I think like Danai says he subconsciously realized that it could be more in the episode Clear when she tells him she used to talk to her dead boyfriend and it's okay. Like she gets him and that was something he hasn't had with someone else without being judged. I also think when she showed up on the doorstep of the house him and Carl were in after the prison he actually realized he NEEDED her. But I think Danai was right as far as when Michonne fell in love with Rick.
@nifty2bthrifty3668 ай бұрын
Completely agree! It was immediate attraction for Rick to this badass beauty walking fearlessly amongst walkers appearing before him, but he felt guilty about Lori which is way his initial response to Michonne was "I want you gone". I think "Clear" is where he softened enough to trust her and let her in. I think the episode where she killed the guy in the cabin on their way to Woodbury was when Rick realized she was just like him and started falling for her. Her relationship with Carl just made him fall in love with her more.
@ske82546 ай бұрын
Completely agree 👍
@ske82546 ай бұрын
In addition to this, he also put his feelings on hold because Carl relied so much on Michonne’s friendship. He knew at the time, his Son needed her more. Example being how Carl was sad after thinking Judith was dead after the prison fight. Michonne showed up physically and emotionally for him. Also after the forest neck bit fight scene. Carl was almost physically abused/assaulted. He was a mess and Michonne was there for him. Bless her, she really loved Carl. So even though Rick was probably in love with her way back then. He had to take a step back. Of course Michonne being there for Carl also made her being there for Rick too. This made him fall even more for her. I really enjoyed the scenes with him checking her out.
@discoveringhealthandfinanc83286 ай бұрын
I'm not sure how to describe what they portray on screen but Rick looks at Michonne with such adoration. It kinda takes you back. When he looks at her, its like we can see him falling in love all over again. Crazy chemistry ❤❤. And she's absolutely crazy over him. Then season 2 being 6 more episodes of working on a battle plan to get home. But what I truly think and really wish/hope for is during this time they meet people from World Beyond and make it home and all spin offs combining together to be an All Out War 2.0. @@EK-iz7es They have not been following the comics, because like you said they killed Carl. I think Rick was suppose to get with the girl that slept with Shane, Michonne's sister/bff. They just need to tell a love story and let them live in peace somewhere, because my heart can't take it anymore. In real life they were sad how it ended, so killing either one of them will be another massive mistake. They are lucky they had an audience after they killed Carl for no damn reason.

@@theclimbingroseaffirmations sometimes it’s cool when they don’t follow the comics when it’s done the right way , but I feel the same way to they need to let them live in peace and let the audience use imagination knowing that the character dies instead of this shock value deaths which sometimes I fell like they over do it. If Rick finds out about RJ but never get to see him, I won’t be able to take that

Having this now is such a gift after the gut punches in episode 3. Really helped soothe away some of the angst so I can look forward to 4 with a bit more hope. I adore Mr. & Mrs Grimes with my whole heart and think they are the hottest and most bada$$ couple I've ever seen in media! The even power dynamic of these two Warriors is such a gift! And, as a bonus, the Actors both seem like really lovely people, too. Very blessed to experience all their brilliant work. Thank you so much for uploading this wonderful talk!💖

He was clearly joking because Gimple stopped him mid sentence and steered him away from saying anything that could be a spoiler. Gimple finished Lincoln's sentence by saying...at the end of this series. Then Lincoln got a little cheeky and said what he said about dying in the end.
