This gracious man and so graceful, eloquent writer, Jack's alter ego, is the architect responsible for so much of the phraseology and ideological thrust of Kennedy's legacy. It was one of the pleasures of my life to have met him. He did Nebraska proud. He did America proud.

I can see easily why JFK and Ted S. got along so well...even at this quite old age, Mr Sorensen has such a brilliant mind, an excellent orator, same humor Kennedy had.

Ted, you seem to be a good man, but what an insult to compare Obomber favorably is any way to JFK.

+itchiray I think in terms of being a good communicator there might be some strong similarities between the two, but that's also where the comparisons stop, in my opinion. I am growing to greatly admire Sorensen lately. He was very intelligent and helped shape JFK's iconic speeches.

+itchiray Ted passed away Oct 31 2010, it is directly because of Ted Sorensen that you and I are here today. It was he JFK entrusted to compose the letter to Khrushchev that saved the world.

We must not forget JFK and his brother Bobby had the final approval on the letter going to Khrushchev, JFK was the president and Sorensen played a huge role In the Kennedy administration.
