93,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered on this day 51 years ago - The story behind this historic day

India is celebrating Vijay Diwas on December 16 to commemorate the 51st anniversary of its win over Pakistan in the 1971 war. Around 93,000 armed Pakistani soldiers surrendered before the Indian army on this day, the largest surrender since World War II. The Indian Army brought Pakistan to its knees in just 13 days forcing them to sign a ceasefire. The ‘Instrument of Surrender’ was signed between the GOC-in-C of Indian Eastern Command Lt Gen Jagjit Singh Aurora, and Commander of the Pakistan Eastern Command Lt Gen A.A.K. Niazi on Dec 16, 1971.

That would of meant that 10000 people had to be killed every single day. Since US invaded Afghanistan and till they left 1.5million people died, Vietnam war was a far deadly war and there were 3,091,000 war deaths between 1955-75. And I can give you many more examples. 3 lakh women did not get raped by 35000 Pakistani soldiers. If that was true then where are the babies? DNA would of proved it. The soldiers were mainly pathans and punjabis and they have a distinct features looks. When Japan invaded Korea and raped Korean women, you can find evidence by checking the DNA now. About 1000- 2000 women were raped in bangladesh but not just by the Pakistani army but by the mukti bahinis and Indian army. 350k people died after the war by the hands of mukti bahinis and Indian agents. They burnt villages, killed mothers fathers, children’s etc they also raped many women. So the death rate was significant higher after the liberation. You have to do these research yourself. Read books of people who are not biased. Read the book Sarmilaw Bose has written, she is a British Indian who visited bangladesh to write the story of the war and to seek evidences but when she got there the story was far from the truth.
