Wow Quicksand is a consistent bracket racing numbers, a little bit higher that you were shooting for in those conditions. And for sure want to see a video on explaining racing weather conditions, would be great. Great job guys.

Great job, is there a reason you have to keep shifting these dcts yourself vs just letting the car shift on its own? Feel like letting the car shift on its own at the right rpm would be faster.
@PalmBeachDyno2 жыл бұрын
Good question. When we first started tuning them, we did not have access to the transmission tune. We can now get it to auto shift but the 1-2 is tricky. It usually short shifts it. So in this case when going for best ET we shift it ourselves. But I will continue to work on getting the auto shifting to be just as fast.

So smart to abort the passes when the launch sucks. So many people beat the snot out of the car with a full pass that’s pointless when they mess it up. No need for the extra abuse. Nice work. Impressive.

The gray car would go 9.8-7s all day at sea level! My experience has been about a tenth of a second per 1000ft on average for my 2010 Audi S4. My only problem has been not having enough fuel pump to support E40 with those cold nights here in Michigan. lol.

Would be nice to see a video on the dyno of a boosted car on 93 make a few pulls then add Octanium or Boostane and show people what a good octane booster can do. Heck even a N/A car on 93 then add octane booster. E85 isn't as available and to most isn't an option. Appreciate the quality videos 💸💸💸💸

Question, have you considered creating a cooling package to compliment your power packages? Setups to allow your clients to beat on their cars without burning them down.
@PalmBeachDyno2 жыл бұрын
Yes. This package will be available in 3 levels. X900S, X900S2 and X900S3. The S2 package will including cooling upgrades. I do it the way I did it in the video to see how far we can get at each stage.

Man we need to start supporting are drag strips and encourage others people to start going there before they are gone.Jax raceways has been gone for 10yrs the closest drag strip is 100 miles away if you live Jacksonville And it sucks if you don’t have a car trailer
@PalmBeachDyno2 жыл бұрын
This wasn't due to lack of support. Land is so expensive down here in Palm Beach County it's not realistic for one to last regardless of the circumstances. They sold the land for $85 million to put it in perspective.
@gregoryjowers36292 жыл бұрын
@@PalmBeachDyno they did the same thing here the property taxes was going up and people wasn’t racing as much and they had a dirt track and 1/8 drag strip there and one day a contractor offer some money to the owners and they was up in age so they sold it.

@@PalmBeachDyno Makes sense especially the MPH Overkill is doing. I'm in between going two different directions with your company. Whipple on 93 vs ported stock blower on 2.75 pulley with all cooling mods. Did you have any videos sharing what the Whipple will do on 93 in comparison? We all know its more efficient but to what point on 93 and is it worth doing over a ported setup?
@PalmBeachDyno2 жыл бұрын
@@MODIT great question. Unfortunately we don't have much data on that right now. We tuned the development Whipple 3.8L GT500 and I believe that was on 93 Octane. However the Whipple was the only mod so that may not be the best comparison. I'll see if we can find those numbers
