Yes this is exactly what is happening... Thanks for the video, happened to me today driving down the highway 70 miles an hour tac goes crazy speedometer goes crazy no power ....now I'm stuck in another town!

@@molinelligarage1004 yes I did I had to get a ride to auto parts store and got a new ignition switch. Swapped it out on the side of the road. It's been working great ever since!

Hello! video is awesome great walk through, but my car has a no crank no start problem haven’t thrown anything at it yet. I know the battery, starter, and alternator is good, but when I’m on the second set my resistance does constantly beep but reeds about 0.00 on the meter. Would that still be bad? Any help would be greatly appreciated!🙏

What about the yellow wire is it Supposed to have continuity while cranking I did all the other wires that you did and they all check out but the yellow wire when I crank there’s no continuity to it

Hi Molinelli I need help after I see your video on KZbin…I car Honda crv 98 got problem 2 weeks ago..no start engine I hearing cranked but start and changed new distributor and starter and check fuse box everything fine 12.7 volt and I have check distributor no power after I check nothing? I don’t know what’s I do…and acc 12 volt and dashboard light on but not start and new switch too…thank you for as soon as possible

I checked two one on a running and one on a crank no start both came up with the same results as this video. Please help me understand why I feel so dumb like I love my jdm but I don't speak Japanese 😂

I'm going to try this I got several different parts ppl telling me what the problem was I've been throwing parts at it so I'll check this maybe this will fix it it starts for a second or 2 and dies

My speedo only dances and now having trouble with it not wanting to start i have changed the starter but still nothing and it reads 12.76 on battery and the connection to the solenoid was 12. But switch it and still nothing i have an extra new main relay switch but that wasn't the problem. What would you know or think ot could be? Im trying to figure out where the starter relay switch is located but not having any luck finding it online or diagram.

Do I need just an ignition switch or ignition switch and cylinder switch aswell?

Cylinder is just the lock cylinder and not needed ...your ignition cylinder is bolted to the backside of the lock cylinder and that's the only part you need . Hope this helps and thanks for tuning in

Are you talking about just the electrical part of the ignition, the part you put the multimeter in correct?
