Man i used to have a video game in child with lemans cars , i was always fascinated by their out of the ordinary designs, eith the fins, long wheelbase and all . Different classes of cars racing in same track. I was bamboozled how unique lemans was compared to f1. Finally my childhood is back agsin with these new hypercars , it feels so good to see them. I'm in awe

In the one door that the driver's enter? He was helping the next driver putting on the seatbelt. Usually the previous driver whom help the next driver but in this case it was the pit crew

@@Leapless no i get that but watching the daytona 24 the pit crew(for sure not the driver)were on their hands and knees reaching up to their shoulders into the cars. i can only assume their cleaning the radiators or checking for debris but im probably wrong, maybe adjustments to suspension or set up?

The one you see with “tread” is used for traction in the wet. The tread pattern will help disperse the water. The “smooth” tire is a slick which is made for maximum grip on dry surface.
