Hi Shelee I’m new to the art of acrylic pouring especially how to produce your beautiful cells. This video was very informative and enjoyable to watch so I’ve subscribed to see more. I’m from Australia too living down south of Sydney after recently retiring to the Jervis Bay Area, so being able to see an Australian artist is so good, especially as you would use products that we can actually get here. I really look forward in seeing more of your technics and I think I will take your course as well. Thank you 😁

Your work is awesome! Thank you for sharing your experience. You are so lucky to have your Floetrol. I ordered 3 Liters of the Australian Floetrol and was staring 2 weeks at it, afraid to use it, because I paid an arm and a leg for it. Today I tried it and I am amazed of the way it works.💖 One question: Can you make the Cell activator in advance and keep it in a squeeze bottle and if, for how long?
@Sheleeart4 жыл бұрын
I don't like to keep mine long, I usually mix fresh stuff every couple of days. But some people keep it for months. You can order AU Flo from my online art store www.fluid-art.co it is US based so shouldn't take long to arrive if you are in the US.

I love these “sound on” videos. These pieces are wonderful. Love them. May I ask when you started using a palette knife to swipe? I started, personally, with strips of junk mail, various widths, because I just couldn’t get the hang of the pressure needed, or rather lightness needed, with a palette knife. I am better at that now. Still working.
@Sheleeart Жыл бұрын
hmmm I can't really recall. Some of my earlier pieces are with card stock etc.

@lindsayhuff88134 жыл бұрын
Instead of putting a pillow of white, use colors to cover the canvas. And then spread those colors out. And then you will get the effect that you desire I think. Because once you swipe over that it’s not going to stretch so much that your colors disappear and you only see your pillow paint from beneath with a small amount of color. You are an amazing artist. And I love your work. But what you are saying that you want it to turn out like, I think if you just covered the canvas with the colors that you were using you may get exactly what you’re looking for. I could be wrong maybe give it a go.
