I was there and really enjoyed it! They were great events, but when Mr. Bennet (I think that was his name) passed on, the event passed with him. Long live the TOC and the great innovations to R/C that came from it.

In ‘96 (Toc) he showed up with a 3w 4cyl in the bipe. He rolled up in a rented van on Friday afternoon and had a flight, for which I understand he was dq’ed for the event lol. There was only a few people there and it was my first exposure to giant scale aerobatics.

Truth be told, this motor was not running well, it was running hot and lean but Chip made it work.
