You can open the yellow sensor plastic box with a small slotted screw driver. Be careful not to break the plastic. The PC board has components and a connector on it. Check to see if a capacitor is blown. If you can solder you can fix it. My 93 Toyota Camry was doing the same thing.

I had a 93 Camry and miss those loud 6x9 speakers on the back shelf. The 98 Camry and 98 Avalon I later owned only had 6' speakers in the doors and didn't sound anywhere near as good as that 93 did.

Guys i have the same car 1992,great car,i have issues with trasnmission , I changed the transmission oil filter and oil and works perfect now. not a big deal job just do it right, I recomend buy the kit at napa the ons with corg gasket, it tell you how to do it, only 19 bucks repair plus 2 1/4 of trasmission oil,thast it. read the instrutions before take the oil off. nee a10 mm tool
