On the one hand I am able to validate her feelings similar to what I had. On the other hand I can’t do anything about it. The time and the moment had passed and may not return. This sucks. How I should handle it. How should I diffuse the situation i am in. That sense of pain is killing me. I am gonna try to not show and get thru this moment quickly and how much ever fast as I can. 96.. movie and music just touches deep into the heart.. I'm Kannadiga, very few words of tamil i can understand but my heart just cried with an unexplainable pain while watching the movie.. really fantastic job by director prem kumar, music director govind vasanth and of course brilliant acting by both Vijay Sethupathy and Thrisha, in fact every actor in that group of friends acted very aptly including teenagers! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Going through the comments, one gets the doubt. Was this a MALAYALAM movie or Tamil? Lol.. We malayalees don't mind the language. We just love quality meaningful cinema. 96 was pure gold. Story, Script, Direction, Casting, Cinematography, Editing & Acting were all magnificent. Music was just out of this world! Hats off the entire team.. I must also add for most malayalees, especially the young generation, Tamil is our second language, that too without learning a single letter from the school. I am from Northeast India. I watched this movie just on the recommendation from imdb..it's under top 50 best Indian movies.. Didn't disappoint. The acting of all actors, both younger and older generations were too good and real.. The music was a treat to the ears.. Great and memorable movie.
