Will it work? Reverse Flower Dip with Amstrdam Pearl paints.
Fluid Art TECHNIQUE: Reverse flower dip, Cup bottom pour
PROCESS:
Pour your base on canvas
Put 3D printed flower shapped cup on the canvas with bottom up
Pour paints on the bottom and use PEARL WHITE or some metallic paints between colours to create petal - lacing effect
Take off the cup
Use SKEWER to draw some petal shapes
Gently put PAPER NAPKIN or towel on canvas ( You can use dry or damped napkin)
Lift one corner at the time and then gently lift it (the middle last)
Torch it for air bubbles and to activate pearl white and metallic paints
And here is your flower :)

1 part Vallejo pearl medium
1 part titanium white
4 parts pouring medium

Because of this, I also decided to share my artistic path on youtube, where I am happy to share my passion and knowledge with more than a quarter of a million people from all over the world.

I love this with all the pearls...even thought it's only showing the red and purple in the middle I just love the Paynes grey with the pearl white...Fiona it's really perfect sitting directly in the middle of that canvas...I was almost going to say I can't imagine doing one like it...but I like to think positive so I'm going to say I can imagine myself doing this one day...and I will keep practicing until I get it...absolutely stunning in my eye's and many eye's I'm sure! I think it's absolutely gorgeous, Fiona! It came out just lovely, even though not exactly what you were going for. I wonder if part of what happened is the titanium white in your pearl white opacified the interference pigments in the Amsterdam pearl colors since you placed them side by side? I'm sure you will get it figured out with some experimenting. I wonder if you could get the lacing and still see the interference pigments by mixing the Amsterdam pearls with the pearl medium instead of titanium white like you do with your pearl white? Basically just substitute them for the titanium white? I think it's worth trying. The other option might be to separate the pearl white and the Amsterdam pearls with a color in between. I can't wait to see what you try! I've been doing a lot of experimenting with interference colors and iridescent/pearl mediums. So many interesting effects that can be achieved!

GORGEOUS! Loved that before you used the napkin, it looked like doilies I've crocheted (my passion). Then loved it again after you used the napkin because blue has always been my very favorite color. And fell in love with it again dry! You are an amazingly creative artist! And the paints that are white until dry require such a supreme leap of faith! Have you heard of a koffee page where followers can donate funds to KZbin posters? Supposedly, you get every penny of donations to creators. A better way to show appreciation. Fiona what beautiful art you do. I loved all of the flowers, both before you did the napkin and after, and dry. So pretty the way the red came up on the petals. I wonder if you could take the napkin and spread it out on another board, to create another flower with the paint from the first. Would be interesting to try with painted board wet with water to help it spread out. A way to recycle, Fiona.

Fiona, this was my first time to see you work and I was absolutely thrilled with what you did!
