Oh God!!! We had this in the student's playroom (...whatever) back in 1989/1990. When I wasn't playing the BRILLIANT Twin Cobra, I played this. Press the left flipper: 'HEAVY!'. Right flipper: "METAL!"

With the topper, the Heavy Metal Meltdown would sell for $2599 these days. Strange Science is $2999---we actually shopped one out and filmed a detailed 30 minute video on all its secrets a year and a half ago, but never published it as we were waiting for the last piece of green screening from the new owner. He hasn't been able to do it due to a sickness in the family....can't wait to release it!

I have a street fighters 2 machine that It doesn't play at all, just says ball stuck call serviceman. I did switch tests on it and every switch is in operative what could it be?

***** make sure you have enough balls in it...and check and make sure all coils are working...also check switch optics...did you also try calling where you got it from? They may be able to send someone over if you cannot locate the problem....if not, there are probably local guys that can come out and look at it!

That dual Solid State Relay reminds me of Strange Science. It had the same board for the neon topper I think. btw, You scared the crap out of me !! Not funny when wearing headphones :) EDIT : Now that I've watched the rest of the video, I noticed a LOT more similarities to Strange Science.
