96fm - The Dog License

This is a Wind-up done on Irish Radio's Cork 96 FM a few years back.
It genuine and must be the funniest thing I ever heard!
Its about telling a west cork farmer he must get a dog license. The man is irate and claims that he has no dogs, then one barks in the background. Hilarious!

How is he faking the accent? The reason Jason from Sminky Shorts uses that accent is because it's how a lot of people in North and West Cork speak. I know loads of people who speak like your man does. I've got quite a strong West Cork accent myself Surely if he was winding Mulcahy up, he would have started speaking in his natural voice afterwards. I suppose he was faking it in the follow up that was done later too?
