#97th

This 97th vlog is packed with lots of happenings between 22nd & 26th Jan, 2025. Starting with glimpses of podcast recording in a new studio, then a walk in F-9 park.
Since most of you ask me about how I'm so positive? I've shared some of my 'secrets' in this vlog. (It is videographed inside my car at the park.)
Saturday 25th began with seven Bridal Projects. Then spending evening with Sadia (my friend) at Roomi's Hotel for Andaleeb's Empower Her exhibition of arts and crafts. A round of all the stalls - there were thirty-five of them! I even had a fan moment when I met Kaukab Khwaja.
I specially loved meeting many of my followers and subscribers at the event in Roomi's Hotel. Loved the warmth with which you came to meet me, we got lots of selfies too. Exchanged thoughts and ideas. I was specially happy to know you are enjoying my vlogs and podcasts. One of you blew me away with the details she shared with me from so many different vlogs and blogs!
At the end, Sadia and I had a meaty feast at Carnivore, where meat is weighed in grams! All accompaniments are free and you can take second helpings too.
Sunday evening, I went to attend the memorable event of Mishal Husain's book, Broken Threads. (Mishal is niece of my aunt Shehnaz Jafar.) The event was just awesome. Just sharing a few glimpses of it here in this vlog towards the end. Mishal has worked for eleven years with BBC, with lots of memorable interviews and documentaries under her cap. The speeches were very interesting; including Mushahid Hussain, and H. E. Jane Marriot, the British High Commissioner of Pakistan. Parveen Qadir Agha, the founder of Parveen Shakir Trust; granted the Akse Khushboo Award's 'book of the year' award to Mishal Husain in this elegant ceremony.
Yes, a very eventful few days.
I'll have to confess, I was rather tired this Monday morning!
