I'm happy to assume you Hikaru cannot see the eval bar during the stream. I'm curious to know how seeing the evaluation would affect play. It's one thing to ask for the best next move. It's another to ask how good your move was. What advantages does knowing the evaluation offer?

Most likely the best use for it is knowing that you have a winning move because when you play chess you are focused on so many things that when there is a tactic right in front of you, you can overlook it. Seeing the eval bar go up and knowing that there is a winning move will cause you to search for it. And obviously if you are good enough you will find the move. But then again sometimes it will just be some weird rare tactic that only stockfish would find and in blitz or bullet it would be a waste of time to look for. (Sorry for the paragraph 💀)
