Errors in this years drop: 1st- The countdown is half a second early than the countdown sound and voice 2- The 2024 lights turns on a bit early and the 0 especifecally lights more early than the other 3rd- The ball doesnt drop entirely into the "2024" sign, as you can see here 4:13 4th- The people who press the ball button to start the drop press it too late, just like 2011 and other years ball drop 3:18 This years ball drop was full of errors but anyways, Happy New Year everybody!

The reason the countdown is different and the 2024 numeral lighten up early due to rennovation on the building

That makes sense. I was trying to figure out why the countdown screen looked so different because there used to be two screens last time (if some of you don’t know what I’m talking about, last time, the 1st screen on the top was a digital clock, and the 2nd screen on the bottom was the countdown timer)
