Seahawks fan here. listened to learn more about the Patriots. you guys did a solid job covering the hawks team. better than some national pundits who still act like Pete Carroll is coaching the team and havent looked at the roster in 4 years. Good stuff 👍

The Seahawks have elite DBs, and I wouldn’t be expecting any WRs to have much success.

I can easily see this game being a 19-17 type of deal with a last minute FG. It's 2 teams with good defenses, especially the secondaries and will both want to run the ball to set up chances passing. I don't think comparing Geno to Burrow should be a thing. Of course, Burrow is a better QB. But the real comparison should be can Geno make throws downfield if the run game is working and conversely can Jacoby make those same plays vs. these 2 defenses. With the Hawks weapons (Btw, Lockett isn't 36, smh) and is still a solid WR with the 2nd highest PFF grade for WRs last week at 90.3. And the Hawks have more depth at RB. I just think it's a lot tougher match-up than the Bengals. Not saying the Pats can't win here and I understand the confidence and hope but I see too many people using last year and not really looking at the Seahawks under the right light. Cincinnati was asleep during the game. Seattle will be a tougher game but I think the pats can win by a field goal.

We heard for years how Patriot opponents were hyped up before the game and then pulled apart after the Pats beat them. There is almost never a game where a team isn't missing an important player or two including the Pats! They played without Barmore and Bourne. Also, every year, teams that we thought would be good don't live up to it and vice versa. That's why all the talk preseason about how tough the Patriots schedule was premature. Already we have gone from saying how tough the beginning of the season was to potentially opening 3-0. Patriot teams in the past played and won games without Ty Law, Edleman, Gronk and many others. They even won 3 out of 4 games without Brady.

I think they will be a more difficult matchup than Cincinnati because DK Metcalf is no joke. They have a solid team. Their defense is better than Cincinnati I believe. Still, I think the patriots team overall is better. Defense and special teams and our running game. I hope we get the win. We have a good chance starting this month off with 3-1. I always figured we were going to beat the Jets but I did not think we were going to beat Cincinnati and San Francisco. So I had us after the month 2-2 before the season started because I believe we were going to beat Jets and Seahawks.

Most analysts believed the patriots will have the worst record in the NFL. The seahawks legit are better than the patriots in every aspect in my opinion.

Yeah they were terrible on defense last year, that’s why they fired Pete Carroll. Don’t sleep on the hawks, they picked up a lot more than just Jenkins and baker
