Years ago my brother worked spraying boats with marine paint. he and a friend would dump the leftover colors into a lined box or cup. The layers were so pretty. They'd cut them into vaguely pyramid shapes and sold them for artwork, doorstops, garden displays, etc. I love the pyramid idea! Thanks.

Also Julie it can be the wax from your cups when you scrap the resin out at the end and will give you this in the middle of your project, because I found that if it was the blushing you will get more of it on your finished product than just the middle bit that you got 😊

Thanks Julie the tray is lovely you now have solved my problem when I use resin in clock moulds the underneath ends up being the top and I haven’t had much luck but I think if I use the ribbon pour I might have success. Thanks again

I found that a tiny bit of nail polish remover will get the resin unstuck without damaging the mold. Your work is absolutely GORGEOUS!! You’re an inspiration!!

Do this technique on a pine round and you add legs for a side table that looks like marble. I did this on a 30 inch pine round and added legs. It looks beautiful on my patio outside.
