The Mach 1 gets a T56 magnum transmission!

Removal of the 6R80 and replaced with T-56 Magnum, McLeod RXT Clutch, Quick Time bellhousing, PA starter, and aluminum driveshaft.

putting in a t56 for my brothers mach 1. but having issues with the input shaft getting through the twin disc everything lines but but pushing and wiggling through isn’t working any help?

Yes if that happens, put your alignment tool back in place again and loosen the clutch bolts. Try pushing the alignment tool up slightly and retighten the clutch bolts. This may help get the alignment perfect so the input shaft slides in. I've run into this same problem before with those plastic alignment tools. If you had a spare input shaft, you can slide it in and tighten the clutch bolts and it will then be perfect. Good luck. It can be frustrating!

@@98saleen thanks we have gotten it in! twin disc rxt mcleod 26spline whole nine. but currently having issues bout hearing a whirring noise when clutch is not engaged. once engaged the whirring goes away but we can figure it out at all

Hey, I swapped my Mach 1 but can’t seem to get my 02 censors to work or reverse light. What wiring harness did you use for the transmission to the back of the engine harness? The round connector off my motor is a male and I need the connector on the manual transmission harness to be female but that’s not the case so I’m kinda stuck.

You can buy the wiring connectors easily on Amazon. Then you simply connect them to your factory wiring (reverse lights, etc just snip the wires and solder or crimp-connect the new connection). Your 02 sensors are still going to be used in your factory harness. You should not remove it. If it's gone, you might have to contact a junkyard to get another one.

To swap from a tr3650 to a t56 what do I need

So, did you go up to a # higher gear ratio to take advantage of this swap? Where did the headers come from?

I've had 3.73 rear gears in the car as an upgrade for a while prior to this T56 Magnum and they work excellent together with the supercharged combo! The headers are from Kooks.

@@tjplays3147 The 2.66 ratio was in the 03-04 Cobra mustangs because they were supercharged and didn't need as much help in the lower end of the rpm scale due to having boost. Most other cars that are either naturally aspirated, turbo, or nitrous could benefit from the 2.97 ratio. Either would work fine depending on your goals, but if you have a twin screw or roots style supercharger and make alot of low end torque, the 2.66 is a better choice.

Badass!! Hey I already have an aluminum driveshaft on my mach 1 will it work with the T56 Magnum or do I have to buy a diffrent one?

The output shaft on the magnum is different and wont' work with a standard T56.

Other than the bellhousing I only had to use the new crossmember and the new driveshaft, the rest bolted right up.
