The Bamboozler isn't a bad weapon, it just requires pinpoint accuracy, a thing that not everybody has. And something that people need to understand is that it isn't a sniping weapon, it's more of an assault pistol

People said the same thing about chargers back when Splatoon released. People said the same thing about rapid blasters, ink brushes, and octo brushes. As an Ink/Octo Brush main, I know that every weapon is good in their own way, you just have to find the potential inside them.

I don't mean to question your weapon choice, but what do you see in brushes? All I see is piddly range and low damage output (without a bunch of DU). Also chargers just kind of slaughter them.

The brushes are a unique type of weapon that requires you to think before acting. When the enemy has map control, rushing in will get you outranged, so waiting until the enemy stops looking your direction or gets too close you can at least go for a trade if the surprise attack fails. Brushes are great for flanking (the very reason people are calling the octo "OP" in Splatoon 2) and getting picks off of people not paying attention. In a basic firefight, running with the brush means death, so jumping right into their face on the side they're not currently shooting at will most likely get you the kill. Chargers? Distract them. Most chargers will be persistent at getting the picks they want, so while your teammates do work, distract the charger by constantly painting their failed shots while still being less predictable with your movements. Because of the brushes' weaknesses, you have to play smart and wait for opportunities. This is why I love splat bombs on Inkbrush because while you're waiting, you can apply pressure/fill your special. I'll end here before I write a whole essay, when it comes to the brushes, I'll always be a dedicated main.

I'm an inkbrush main in splatoon 2 and it's all about thinking how to play before playing, fast reaction time and knowing how to combine everything it gives you, knowing when to run away, when to attack, how to defend your base with splat bombs and those things, I don't really like octobrushes that much because of the decreased speed and I agree that the inkbrush should get a damage or a range buff, but that doesn't mean it's bad

I just saw this vid now and I am a level 50 S+ kelp splatterscope user, I always thought why people would use a bamboozlers as I thought it sucked and I would hat it forever, rarely I would die from these weapons and then I re thought to myself.. bamboozlers are not really that bad, I would always say I am never gonna use that weapon ever. I am now using a bamboozler more often and like it a lot, thanks to you my sniping quick scope skills are better and my full scope, you are a legend bringing down those haters, and now I have a question to all haters, why do you hate it so much? Thanks for making this montage and keep on doing what your doing cause you are incredible at this!!

I think in splatoon 1 my highest kill count was 22 or 24 in a game, burst cancelling was a godsend for the MK3.

It’s great in Splatoon 2 too. A lot of people don’t realize that the bamboozler’s range is not dependent on the charge. So it doesn’t matter if you charge it or not, it will shoot the same distance. That makes it easy to tap fire people to death after a charged hit. Also it’s charge time is godly. People who call it trash probably main the aero spray lol

If the Bamboozler comes back in Splatoon 2, these are my predictions: -Damage will be set around 40-50 for uncharged shots and 70-90 for charged shots enabling a reliable 2 shot kill. -Since it's still classified in the sniper class it will get the hold charge ability, and since it charges so fast this allows for insane hit-and-run mindgames. -Probably will get a bomb, most probably will get to keep burst bombs, allowing for burst cancel, if not, most likely autobombs to control movement and make hitting easier. -For special, bubble blower might be their way to go: more weapons need to have it and one that can pop the bubbles fast and from a good distance is ideal Those are my predictions.

K Gaming Ok checklist: -Uncharged shots: 30 damage, Charged shots: 80 damage. Thought they would make the Baboozler a 3 uncharged shot gun like all other Snipers but the quick and reliable 2 shot kill it's still there. -No hold charge, yeah that might have been busted, but good ttk on the weapon alone means more room for run speed up. -Got a bomb, not the kind that best suits it but Curling bomb does help with it's mobility, allows movement control and allows sneaky attacks, specially with ninja squid. -Forgot to type it that time but I did predict Tenta Missiles, I noted that Nintendo has had the habit of giving long range weapons Tenta Missiles, for some reason. 3/4 predictions right. Not bad

do the damage upgrades allow you to splat people in one hit? there are no damage upgrades in splatoon 2, so normally it takes 2 hits to splat someone with the bamboozler, which is pretty bad.
