It is worth it's price. For non camera enthusiasts the quality would be fine but there is definitely a difference to the premium cameras. I started with video cameras in the 90's and all this stuff blows my mind. Too many toys, too little money. Good video presentation.

I'm looking for a cat cam and though my cat is very popular (he has more FB friends than me LOL) I am not in a position to fork out $600 for an Insta 360 GO, especially if he's going to drop it somewhere LOL (he goes outside). Thanks for reviewing it so we don't have to.

Thanks for this, my 360 GO broke pulling it off the charger, the magnet was too strong it opened the back part of my GO a bit and U can’t “press” it back so I saw this. The camera is huge and thicc, I’d take 1080p over 4K if the stabilization frame rate and color can justify it not to mention not making it look all blown up...good honest review

Wow, sorry to hear of the break. Is that covered under warranty? I've crashed mine lots on FPV drone and still works great

@@AuthenTech i got mine on Amazon , since it’s only been like two weeks it’s still on the warranty. I talked to a rep and they tried to contact insta360 but cause of timezones they were closed. The best option they could give me is a refund after I returned the product so that’s solved it...I’ll wait for Go2 in a year or so probably

There's potential. Wait for next version 😁 I love the Insta360 cameras but they are so expensive unless i have very good reasons for buying them. The version 1 is good as a human dash cam

Jeez I do get lost which camera I should buy. I'm asking for your advice Ben, here goes, attached to motorbike, ideally remote control, waterproof, excellent video, good stabilisation, reliable, easy to use. Audio, stabilization, and colors are way better on the Go. The image isn't that bad on the Akaso if they could improve the stab and audio. Do you think they are going to come out with a Go2? I'm going to a hospital in Vietnam for surgery on Monday. A Go would be perfect for vlogging some of that at the hospital. Thinking about running out and getting one, but if a 2nd model is coming out soon I don't want to do that.

I own a go already and was considering buying the Akaso....but now I see it's poor software and poor stabilization so I'll pass...the strength of the Go is it's stabilization which is trickledown technology from their more expensive cameras and their easy editing program too is worth a lot of it's cost.

I have an android phone and when I messaged insta 360 they said my phone might not be compatible. @@tanksoo to be honest it will be fall 2021. I think they also do 2 year life cycle. It was release less then 1 year ago and don’t think they sold as many they thought. It’s a very expensive camera for a weird market segment. The Drone market has adopted this camera but we are still small market. I don’t even use mine anymore. The fun lasted 2-3months. I did hear rumours of insta working on something that the drone pilots will love.

@@tanksoo btw saw your github and video. I guest you know a few things about stabilization. You should joint the Facebook group call « tiny insta360 community » we had dis issuing about creating our own stab system for drone using the existing gyro of the flight controller.
