How can someone with with almost 3500 hits, 6th all time on the hit list, and a career .300+ hitter for 20 years,ever be called overrated?? It literally makes no sense at all and such and ignorant statement!! Even if he wasn’t the best defender, that still has nothing to do with his hitting and offensive stats. And even on defense he always came up with the big play and never choked it!! His clutch factor alone makes him the furthest thing from overrated.
