So many people commenting how arrogant Barnes was, did we not see Revs screaming and cheering a couple frames ago? And someone said Barnes has a weak mental game, I won’t deny Kasimakis was good but he wasn’t good enough to be great on tour. You can see when he guttered and then didn’t strike right after he lost all confidence in himself.

Yes and he should have never changed. I think that's why he hasn't won as much as he should have. In my opinion he is probably the best in the world today yet he worries about his image too much. Barnes was always a very confident, arrogant bowler on the lanes. He had the swagger you need to be great. He needs to get it back and be more of the bad boy on tour.

Rudy Revs had a thing about dominating tournaments to a point and then just not quite being there in the stepladder.

I was pulling for Rudy to win this one.

good point. chris has alot of youth bowlers looking up to him. he doesn't want to them them the wrong impression.

Barnes is one of my favourite players... 2nd only to Duke... But geesh, he was kind of arrogant back then...

Sorry but the bad boy title goes to Pete Weber, but I do agree that Chris Barnes is a great player.

Pete Weber USED to be the "bad boy" on tour but I think he has kind of lost that title in recent years as he's reached middle-age. Someone else should take over that role, but I don't think it is for Barnes.

It would be good for him to be more confident... But I don't think he can afford to be the bad boy when he's the USBC spokesperson, and the rep to the Olympic committee.

Yup, not in America.

I'd actually prefer being recognized in, and only in my profession than being a topic next to some Kardashian gossip.

i'd say the best part of that whole match was the old fella at the end of the clip that had the epic sigh, even he knew how much of a joke rudy is

How many pba telecasts have you made?

PBA and bowling in general is dying...outside of bowling, Barnes is a nobody. If Linda only knew...
@Ub3rn00berer13 жыл бұрын
It's funny to hear people talk about bowling dying. Just because YOU are losing interest in it, don't worry. Bowling is doing just fine. There are huge tournaments all over the world. Major centers all around the globe fight for and compete to have events that pay a ton of money that players from all over come to and bowl in. They fight to hold these tournaments like some places fight to get the Olympics in their city.

Hes so arrogant.. throwing a strike on the Brooklyn side is pure luck. Nothing to be bragging on yourself about. The championship was rightfully rudy's. In my mind he won.
