We have to practice seeing God in everything we desire. Never separating Him from what we want. We have to give up the ideas of what is good and what is bad and just try to focus on creating such a strong bond with Govinda that the mind becomes fearless in seeking Him. In actuality, He is the only true friend we have. If we do our utmost to keep the mind in His association it becomes less of a burden and more of a habit to think of Him instead of the world. I remember Swamiji's first lecture in Sunnyvale temple 8 yrs ago- he said "THERE IS NO HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD - yet, there is happiness and there is a way to reach it through Sadhana", and as evident all around us, it is so true. The futile search for happiness here, in this world got less intense and instant peace prevailed.

our desires create our personality, the stronger the desire, the stronger/weaker we are. We work harder than others and have to sacrifice immediate gratification for long term success/happiness.

There is no true happiness in this material world, it's only illusion of happiness.we strive hard for our dreams, for a moment it gives pleasure but slowly it starts satiated.Such is the nature of this material world. As we all are not body but divine souls n happiness comes in divinity.
