In my experience, the more I think of God alongside everything i want and do, i found that many of those activities become boaring after a while. I guess the thought of Divinity radiates such light that it destroy the petty desires and i know the stronger ones will be destroyed too in time to come. I still have a long way to go. I remember Swamiji's first lecture in Sunnyvale temple 8 yrs ago- he said "THERE IS NO HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD - yet, there is happiness and there is a way to reach it through Sadhana", and as evident all around us, it is so true. The futile search for happiness here, in this world got less intense and instant peace prevailed.
