It was an idea invented later to explain how a command to worship one God became a religion worshipping multiple gods. Still more, not one word of the New Testament is conveyed directly from Jesus since it is written in Greek and Jesus spoke Aramaic. The books of the Bible were written long after Jesus’s ascent into heaven. Then later still - 300 years - some were put in the Bible and some rejected. It was then it was decided one was three and not before. Who believes in God will have eternal life. Who followed Jesus in his lifetime will too. But it is a basic offence against logic that the salvation of mankind should not occur until centuries after Adam. And what does “begotten” mean? For humans we know, but God is above that by far. God created Adam. God created Jesus. That is all we need to say.
