Repetition, repetition, repetition. But trying not to make the same mistakes. Thanks for the chat. Always good to hear your perspective.

thank you man. that means a lot. I try to be real. In reality, I'm a little bit more energetic and enthusiastic when speaking finish (I don't need to search for words, haha), but I'm learning to speak English better and better every day! take care man! ps. excited about the new setup, some gear coming, plus paint to the wall next week!

@@guitaristnextdoor8430 no problem, you seem like a cool guy. Anyway, what kind of gear are you getting for the setup?
@guitaristnextdoor84308 ай бұрын
@@countervolition thanks! U2! basically, I'm mostly upgrading the video setup and reorganizing everything. and the gear I ordered was not guitar gear, but camera gear (this time, haha). It turned out I had pretty good gear for creating guitar vids already, but I just didn't know how to use them right. now I'm a lot better at using them (I hired a pro video creator to help). but I have to paint 1 wall with a darker color to make me and the guitar pop out more on video (white skin on a white wall doesn't look that good). Then bought a filter for the camera lens in order to control light better, and a couple lights to add behind me to make me and the guitar pop out even more. that's basically it! excited to see how everything looks...all should be ready before the end of next week!

Can you share what steps you took to improve your guitar playing? Great progress!
@guitaristnextdoor84308 ай бұрын
thank you for commenting!! it means a lot! well, there's a ton of more content coming in the future. but basically it's this 1. Set a vision/goal. most people won't do this. if this is not done, we have nothing to aim at and move a lot slower. 2. Show up every day. consistency beats talent. 3. Do not repeat the same mistakes over and over again. analyze your practice and playing in order to see what works and what slows you down. video yourself playing is a great way to do this. This is the basic framework for getting good at guitar or at anything else. 1 additional thing that helps is to get some good tips into your head about guitar playing every day, this can be done by watching amazing players play and trying to implement stuff they are doing into your own playing.
