The blood giving set has a filter, so that no blood clots get thru. He would also needed to be given Furosemide so that there is no swelling, and who was doing the actual nursing of him, as far as making sure he didn't have a reaction to the blood transfusion and fluid overload. I believe in God. But I don’t read anywhere in the Bible that God saves all the Christians who believe in him. The Bible is Not a line out of the movie The Book of Eli, when a prepper who took Eli in and had to team up to defend his home against the enemy gang asked, “… What does your God say about this situation?” Eli replies, “God said we will make it out alive, but he did not say anything about You.” The Bible promises life After death, not that he will necessarily save your life From death. It actually says in the Bible that it is appointed unto man once to Die, and then the judgement. It also says that if you try to save your life you will lose it, but if you die for Gods name sake you will find it. This all pertains to life after death, and how You behave in doing anything to save your life, including hurting others or causing others to be harmed to save yourself. (Think the rich boyfriend in the movie Titanic when he snatched someone’s child so he could be first on the life boat).
@jdlflagstone69806 сағат бұрын
For me, the part of that movie that made no sense realistically was the people, families, outside of the gate for days upon days and they still only seemed mildly annoyed at being kept out.. After a day or two of no eating, you will do anything for a meal. They would have been trying to sneak in, trying to rush the gate, etc. And if not, they would have moved on to somewhere else..
@1880gregory8 сағат бұрын
Thanks for this thorough review. I haven’t seen it but based on your video I want to point out: WATER WATER. The first big issue will be CLEAN WATER. Within a few days most people will drink water they filter through shirts which is inadequate. Diarrhea will start and by 4 days with no power the majority of people will have dysentery, cholera, and or typhoid. By a month they’ll be almost no one to feed. But if the people at the rich preppers gate don’t have water they’ll have to leave and find a river or lake. I haven’t seen any Prepper movie or book bring this to light to the extent that they should. They always focus on food.
@Xeno-M.2 сағат бұрын
Actually Not true if you know what to do. There are ways to filter water naturally, with sand, rocks and charcoal, as well as through green tree branches and vines. Also boiling water over a fire or setting dirty water in a glass jar in the sun for a while will do the trick. It just depends on what you Know and a few things to have on hand, such as a mason jar or metal container

what verse is that in the bible? There is no such verse in the bible. God ORDERED Noah to close his doors. He did not do it of his own volition. He did as he was commanded, for judgement day was upon mankind.

The issue with giving away food is that you end up with 100 times more people asking for food. When you are force to turn them away, thats when they stop asking & start demanding. Ideally you want to tell them sorry you don't have any food, and phase it as if you already been looking for food in the area. I tryed to find food at the quickie mart yesterday, but it was cleaned out. Thus signaling to people that you indeed do no have anything to give. Also tell them if they find any food, That you be willing to trade something for it.

@guytech7310Сағат бұрын
@Xeno-M. "or teach them skills so they get their own food and shelter" What you propose is unrealistic. Its not as if some can become a farmer overnight or in a few months & the will lack the equipment to do so. No chance they are going to till & seed 10 acres by hand using a shovel & bucket. Consider for a homestead you need a tractor with some means to til the soil, seed drill\spreader, cultivator, and probably a spreader for lime & fertilizer. Then you need the seed, fertilizer, Fungicide & pesticide (depending on crop) & diesel fuel. Then for harvest, you need a some why to harvest the crop if its corn, wheat, beans, Oats. which all have different heads to cut and feed the machine. If your plan was to hunt & fish, well that will last about 6 months before all of the game is hunted out. most lakes are also stocked by the gov't & limits are used to prevent depletion. As if you live in an arid region you need to figure out irrigation.

You have to develop the skill set as well as others that go hand in hand i.e. heirloom seed saving, how far to space different cultivars to prevent crossing, preservation, broadening your horizon in using things outside your normal box i.e. turnips added to your pot roast recipe, processing sugar beets into sugar, milling any of that grain they let the rats get into, spraying for pest and fungus especially in the orchard during the dormant season of winter in preparation for next year's fruit, it's truly an endless rollercoaster-boxing-match of an exponential learning curve. 😉

I know many Christians and Catholics they would Not give it all away, if any, It a sin to do so. Just like self defense is also allowed. It is a sin not to. Jesus didn't turn his cheek to be slapped again but not create hate or anger in his soul. Not his mission but a good lesson on when to walk away especially when you are wise.

As a Christian a scripture comes to mind about preparedness, it the scripture about the 7 virgins with oil that brought extra for themselves to see the bridegroom come into town, and seven others that just brought enough for like the night, when foolish ones ran out and asked the wise ones to borrow there oil, the wise ones said no and said go by some, when the foolish ones left to buy more they missed the bridegroom. So let that one sink in

Nate, you did a great job on this. I just wanted to say as Christians my husband and I have considered these questions and things are not as cut and dried as some of faith might think. I’ve read all the books this movie is based on, (Black Autumn), and I like how detailed they made this world. The movie was a lot more family friendly than the books. I guess in a long-winded way I’m trying to say God gives us wisdom, and I think that is just as important as generosity.

If what you did was RIGHT, then there is no reason to question if it was the right thing to do 🙏 Soup can be stretched to serve many, many people - one of those turkey frying setups, some cans of Keystone Chicken, some rice & some Chicken bullion and you can give a lot of people something… the question is what goes in the next pot, can someone catch fish, can someone trap 🪤 something or get a dear… At some point all our preps will run out it’s what we do before that happens that matters 🙏

Agreed. Also imparting knowledge as to how to hunt, fish, etc should be done to help others also. Builds community instead of animosity.

I would have to try. Love the movie reviews you do and will continue to watch! As always praying for you and your precious family daily! the vehicle has to be a turbo diesel and have a mechanical fuel pump and mechanical valves,so indirect fuel injectors in order to be able to burn almost any oil for fuel (vegetable or engine oil etc) so you can make fuel on the go best option is a 20 year old pick up combined with an ebike with some solar panels on the pick up this gives you mobility using 2 different types of fuel the ebike can be used without batteries so basically 3 types

I did not see this movie and I appreciate you giving a breakdown along with your observations yeah, I think you should review more movies. You’re pretty good at this. I’ve been prepping 25 years and my weakness is I don’t have a big group... not even a small group I’m nearly a lone wolf, which is sad You said you would have about 12 people with you. I would venture to say you have them already broken into their category of expertise and greater good Thanks for the breakdown, Nate there’s always so much to learn

No electricity or vehicles just brings us back to living like our ancestors! Having gardens and a way to expand rapidly will build a new but different society! Shoud be doing it anyway!
@thebandplayedon..614521 сағат бұрын
Sadly, no. No, it will not bring us 'Back' to such a time. That is impossible, to do so would require us to have treasured, honored, and maintained the skills, knowledge, fortitude & ambition, family & community bonds of our ancestors, who, were building on that of their ancestors. We did no such thing. We will be going 'back' to a time that's never existed before. A time of vastly no useful knowledge, skills, abilities, lack of health, experience, no connection to the land or animals, no fortitude or ambition, a lack of morels, broken families and the Individual over the collective community . That said, even Little House on the Prairie, looking back, was one trauma filled event after another... deaths, sudden blindness, severe accidents, gangrene & self amputation, drug addiction & alcoholism, all cumulatively adding up to the whole damn town burning to the ground in the end. We'll be lucky if it turns out so well.

I am A Christian preacher of 18 years. “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.” 1 Tim 5:8. Giving all your resources away haphazardly on the idea of thinking your actions are morally superior is not faith. It is ignorance. Note the principle of the verse above.. provide for your own household! Here’s another, “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you: that if any would not work, neither should he eat.” (2 Thess. 3:10). The principle is, if a person won’t contribute, like work then they are not entitled to resources. The early church dealt with this issue from the beginning. How do we face the poor and help those who deserve it and not enable those who don’t? I think the verses above shed light on that.

High air filtration option are not unique to Tesla, also an EMP effect will not be consistent across every electronic device in an area. You will likely have some cars that will start and others that won't. Terrain and structures (including other vehicles) in the area will provide some protection to electrical devices.

50:23 - As a Christian, in that moment when you need to make a very heavy weighted decision - we are always told to pray about it and ask God for direction, we would also ask God to protect our family. You would never make a decision in haste - and praying for wisdom and guidance should be ongoing... especially in moments like this. King Solomon did it best. My son is also named Drake and looks like that kid (mixed)... it's hard with teenagers. We teach Traditionalism at home in all things. All you can do is pray that your child will make wise decisions.

Also, not trying to blowing smoke up your tail pipe brother but you definitely have a vast knowledge and understanding of how people think and possibly react to situations that I lack. Definitely something I've got to understand better, I'm just a knuckle dragger and as soon as I see a possible threat or situation not going in my favor (although I believe I'm in the right) I automatically drop the hammer. Definitely something I need to self reflect on and grow on. Thank you again for everything you provide us. Much luv and respect
