skills wise, he is one of the best of all time, dribbling, passing, left foot, right foot, volley in both feet, free kick, even without the need of speed or strong body. And one of the very few Italian team players to receive standing ovation at Real Madrid. People may say Roberto Baggio is better in the same aspects, but well, Alex has been in the top level in so many many years. And a World Cup won too, despite his most regretful poor performance at the Euro 2000 final.

top 10 dribbler of the 90s , top 10/15 free kicker of all time, top 10 penalty taker of all time, for a striker(second striker) he scored much more goals from length(Del Piero zone) or dibbling 1-2 players and finishing rather than poaching style(like Trezeguet, Inzaghi etc), great in both feet and a true leader(captain) of a team. Extinct breed where a player choose his love for the team over fame and money. GOAT for all of us Juventus fans

he's the best player in the world before his knee injury 95-96-97-98 with 4 europeans finals. he's one of the best dribbler ever it was so hard to took the ball from him, he was the god of fault , i remember even in very close game no solution , he just took the ball go where he want he look for a fault from defenders and he just score the freekick, it was like a penalty for him, defender cant touch him in the last 30 metres he has a very high average of scoring freekicks from everywhere with all style he can score like juninho or like beckham and players like Zidane,Zlatan and Pirlo were students in his freekick university . even penalty he scored all styles and his penalty vs ac milan 2008 is one of the hardest penalty ever seen and i dont remember other player kick curved penalty like that with outside of foot with that power and precision.

Fully proficient with both feet, passing, dribbling, leadership, looks! What an amazing career, and became a life long Juve fan in 90's because of him. Kept scoring free kicks whole career, now we can't get any players to do it for more than a few seasons max. I think he missed 1 penalty in his whole career, probably has to be a record for longest streak for players that took so many penalties.

I miss those times of football. When scoring was hell difficult and there were geniuses like him. Now is just about speed, no defence at all, softer rules, and just a bunch of easy goals...cause goals are the "easy show", they bring statistics and numbers to show off, then come the prices and so money and sponsors ... such a sick loop. To me football as a sport is getting boring, simpler and soon is going to be dead. Miss ADP, pure genius. He was to me the last football artist.
