So, my prediction is that Max will teach Mingo all the ins and outs of Project Management (jobsite naps, critter chasing, watering lawns, as well as inspections) so that, one day he (Max) can retire to the cabin. Make sure you treat Max as the leader of the pack... feed him first, give him treats first. It will keep him from getting mixed messages from you. He will be happier.

Actually both dogs should only view "dad" as the pack leader. Max is very balanced and as long as each get the SAME treatment... he'll have a great balanced pack! (Advice from a registered service dog trainer; canine behaviorist)

Spending a bit of money to get good quality is such good advice.I’ve spent my life trying to save a buck and have come to realization that saving yourself the stress is one of the best reasons to spend a few dollars more.
