If the meaning is to express that the noun/adjective/phrase is greatly true... then what is ない・なかった negating? And why? Don't understand the logic. Would appreciate an explanation. 🙏🏽

This grammar apparently means "To be unable to put into words." Just read online that one way to compare with English is the phrase "I can't describe" to how a high degree, e.g. "I can't describe how excited I am (because I'm THAT excited)."
