I remember 9H1CL, Bertram in Sliema, in 1976... I set-up a RTTY receiving station with an old Creed 7B which I saved from a nearby junk-shop with piles of old teleprinters and other old British military junk... vy 73 ! Jim, that time 9H3T...

Tons of combinations, antennas, transceivers, power suppliers etc - isn't it easier to just turn on skype or mobile phone ?... XXI century - we got tv in i-phones and somebody love to make his life more complicated than it really is :)

orpheotube But those are dependent on a service. With RTTY all you need is your own hardware, power, and someone else to talk to.
