I know where you're coming from trying to get things up in the air out of the way but then you have to deal with the heat that's near the ceiling especially in your climate where I'm from it's freezing cold so not too bad I'm about 4,000 miles Northeast of you beside Bangor Maine in New Brunswick Canada

Thank you for the input, but don't think I have much of a choice. Mounting it lower meaning moving the battery bank to the side and creat all sort of issues, longer wires ect.

5 panels in series, then parallels. The other 6 panels go to the mid night are 3 in series then parallels.
