Good morning and thanks for stopping by the channel. Best to avoid moisture and humidity effecting your ammunition is the store in an environment that is always controlled by a humidifier. Keeping them locked in a polystyrene box will also help. Normally, ammunition lasts many years. Take care and have a great week👍👍.

Since this clip I have used few more of these and have seen others at the range with this stuff. No Issue as far as I remember but still I have strengthen my view, based on my experience and others that these rounds are HOT, compared to most other factory loaded ammo by other brands such as Federal, STV, Fiocchi, S&B or Magtech. Regards for now and thank you for being active in the chat

@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 Hi. thanks for doing the review. what do you mean HOT ? when fire get hot more then other brands ? do you think this is from type of powder ? cheers !

@@IronSightSal Hello Sal. Thanks for being a member in the community. Hot signifies that they feel stronger when shoot. The recoil feels stronger compared to others. When it comes to powder it is not the quantity alone but also the type. Difficult to say each factory what powder they use but, so far, from all the 9mm that I have dismantled in 124gr these here are the results for powder: SIG 124g ..... 5.70g CBC 124g ..... 5.60g Sterling 124g ..... 5.40g STV 124g ..... 5.20g S&B 124g ..... 4.90g Geco 124g ..... 4.80g Regards for now.

Hello Igor. Thanks so much for your subscription. I have fired these 50 rounds from Sterling and found them to be accurate enough for factory loaded ammo. In addition, my impression was that they are hot rounds compared to other brands. Have a look in the comments as I think there is some feedback that might interest you. Thanks

@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 Thanks for the answer. I live in Bashkortostan (Russia). I plan to shoot them with a carbine through a chronograph. Find out the speed of the bullet. It seems to me that the mass of gunpowder is too much for 124 grains.

Is this ammo corrosive?
@ReloadingMoreAD1966
@ReloadingMoreAD1966 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks for your comment. To my understanding this ammo is not corrosive. The case is made of brass and the projectile type is FMJ covered in CuZn30. The primer is not magnetic. You might be able to find detailed specs here. (www.sterling.com.tr/en/Welcome)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE. It literally causes jams on every other round. You'll shoot maybe 3 rounds consecutively without a jam.

Thanks for your comment. I have had mixed feeling from this brand from other shooters at the range. The issue you had is more prominent on some type of weapons and not on others. On CZ75 I have not heard complains but on Glock and Sig some had issue. Let me point out two FACTS: a) I recently did a very detailed OAL test on 9 brands all in 9x19mm. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/b16xaGykhceWbJY) In this test, out of 450 rounds, the longest and the only round that was ABOVE the saami standard was from Sterling at 1.1705" inch. The maximum allowed is 1.169" (The out of standard length is a great factor for jamming your gun) b) Irrespective of what type of propellant is used amongst different manufacturers, this round is more or less on the same level vis-a-vi the amount of powder. Still amongst shooters, the idea is that these rounds are hotter and not so consistent compared to your more common 124gr ammo such as that from S&B , CBC or PMC. (Stronger rounds can also be a factor for Jamming) Thanks for showing interest in the content. Have a great day.

completely nonesense. just fired about 400 rounds out of my p229 legion without ONE malfunction and it definitely felt hotter than my norma range ammo.

@@bikerbros8693 I read other reviews on this ammo and jamming issue seems to be very common. I'm not sure if they had a several batches of issues when manufacturing them but I tried these rounds in my glock, and H&K but failed miserably. It also left these black carbon dusts all over my arm. I was able to get a full refund on whatever ammos I returned.
