Have used these 30+ years in Glock 17,19 and 26. Always accurate and reliable. Sad that Walmart doesn't sell it any more.

I was skeptical about these rounds simply because of the price and the white box. However watching multiple videos where they have been tested I decided to test them out myself. As cheap as they are oh, they are extremely consistent when it comes to opening up. Both the 115 and 147 grain projectiles expand even through heavy clothing. I got one out of four rounds of the Winchester Ranger t projectiles to expand out of my glock 43, but all four of the white box projectiles expanded out of my glock 43. I tested them through a layer of fabric cut from a hoodie with a layer of t-shirt material behind it. I used organic gelatin instead of clear gelatin though.

Awesome. So many YT channels don’t test anything but the “high end” stuff. This is proof the cheaper rounds still do just fine. And that 12” might be preferable to some folks especially if you’re using it for home defense!

The consistency in velocity speaks to the right combo of powder speed and grains. Great test!!!

Excellent test. I really like the 3 barrel lengths. I just bought a box of 500 Winchester 115 HP bullets and will load them to 1150 fps in my 5" gun.

I like your test.. it is interesting to see that the Glock 19s average speed is faster than the Glock 17 ..it’s also interesting to see that the Glock 43 almost preforms the same as the longer barrels

I was searching for a video about herters 9mm jhp ammunition. Found out recently that Winchester manufactures the ammunition for Herters which can be had for about $25 for a box of 50 rounds. Thanks for posting this video.

I'm genuinely shocked these performed as well as they did. I don't think I would exchange them for HST's, but it is good to know that they would work if needed.

One of the best videos I have seen 3 barrels to see the difference real life problllty, short and to the point, I like this ammo and the price, than you very much I appreciate it.

While I keep full size home defense guns loaded with 124 HST and 147 ranger T, carry 115 critical defense in shorter barreled concealed carry guns.. I do have a decent stash of this in the stockpile. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for home defense or concealed carry.

Bought a case of these earlier this year. I keep all my mags filled with them.

115gr HP seems to work well with the 3" area barrels... they open up!

This is my carry ammo of choice there's no need spending all this extra money for all this high-end fancy nonsense The stuff does what it's supposed to do and I pray to God I never have to use it!

Good rounds at reasonable price. Idea type of rounds that you could use in a defense weapon wo worrying about over penetration.

Rural store has this and some other little bit. Some of the more expensive stuff gel tests inconsistent, or no good in short barrels, etc. This stuff seems to clean house and run well out of all three, which is not maybe usual. But I would wish it was at it's 5 years ago price.

I agree. I think 4 layers of denim is excessive. I think it may have to do with the FBI considering a shot where the arm is initially hit but the bullet must still get to the vitals in the chest. However, this would still only be 3 layers of denim. Maybe the 4th layer represents other clothing? Most often I think we as citizens and not police officers are served perfectly well with a couple to a few layers of normal clothing.

The 4 layers of denim was never meant to show realistic conditions it was supposed to be for worst case scenarios. Just like ballistic gel doesnt perfectly emulate shooting a person.

just ordered few boxes for that for my EMP to test the reliability of the gun, if that worked well then why critical defense when this box offered double the capacity of a box of critical defense?
