All the horrible things that were said about Shanann from how she raised her children to her choice in employment meanwhile all she was doing was trying to save her marriage and keep her family afloat. Many criticized her always doing her nails saying she shouldn't have been spending the money but One:She worked hard and deserved to spoil herself Two: Maybe she was trying to maintain her appearance for the sake of her marriage. She didnt abuse or kill her babies she loved them and lived for them. I'm glad her name has been exonerated! May her and her angels rest in peace.

Soul Maldonado so true. I’m guilty of being judgmental about how she treated Chris in her vids. Now that I know more it probably shannans repressed bitterness about his snide remarks to her and the girls off camera that came out with out her even intending it to in her vids. I feel bad for not realizing that earlier. No matter how I felt about her vids I was at least cognizant enough to know she did not kill her babies or deserve what he did to them. I wish she and the girls stayed with her parents when they went to visit

Yes, that’s what I mean. Someone has to do the body removal and the DA said in court that there are many many victims which included all the teams that had to retrieve the bodies, do the autopsy’s and burial. They take great time, effort and compassion to care for the bodies of the deceased. And I for one hope they never have to see this ever happen again, but they likely will at some point but at least for now I hope they find peace and know they helped put this monster away. ❤️ Thanks for all the reply’s & likes people! ☺️

In my heart I feel that his mother will ultimately justify these horrific heinous acts by her son, by continuing to believe that his wife is to blame. His mother and her reactions and disgraceful public derogatory statements about her following her death are indicators of this. Mrs. Watts could not bring herself to hold him accountable in court today. She briefly redeemed herself but then repeatedly took the opportunity to declare her unconditional undying love for her demon son. It was sickening to listen to. IMHO she will continue to believe that Shenann “drove “him to do it. She owes Shenann’s family a huge apology.

The family's advocate read the statement clarifying Cindy Watts new understanding of her son's "responsibility" for all of the deaths. Cindy Watts' impact statement was directed towards her son and it appeared she is still in shock because they always loved him and did not neglect or abuse him as a child. The reason Chris Watts killed his family was outlined by him in a work presentation on relationships. He killed them all because he held delusions of grandeur as to his position in life. Also, he was constantly lying because he was practiced at deception. Watts thought he could elevate himself by slaughtering his family, so his diabolical plan was strictly a means to an end. The Watts family is in need of prayers, counseling and support. Familicide is turning into a statistical national epidemic which MUST be addressed by our society!

@@emg777 There was a woman, I think from Fla., who shot and killed her two daughters a couple of years ago, maybe? Her name was Christy, I believe and she was always overly concerned about how she looked in appearance and to others. One daughter was around 16 and the other was 19 or something and about to marry. Then there was the father in Chicago, I believe who shot and killed his 2 teenage twin daughters in front of the mother. Christy did it because her husband wanted a divorce, this seems to be the common denominator here, it's always when one spouse leaves or wants a divorce and they make the other suffer by killing the children. So absolutely heartbreaking.

@@ladybug4408 :: Cindy Watts indicated she disliked Shanann to the degree of refusing to attend her son's wedding. Yet, she also states they spent weeklong visits twice a year in CO with them at their home. There is something very questionable about these statements, imo. How do you not attend the wedding .. yet, still show up twice a year for extended visits? Cindy Watts talks too much. In psychology, sometimes referred to as bulldozers. She disliked Shanann and poisoned the relationship by abusing her in passive/aggressive ways while she was alive. Now she has dropped the passive and gone straight to the aggression ... very similar to the way her son turned on Shanann. Cindy Watts is the core reason for destroying Chris Watts' perceptions of his wife. Shanann tried to encourage "a socially awkward" husband to stay motivated and she was a talented go-getter. Cindy Watts did not like the idea of being displaced by Shanann. Many of the psychological reasons for her rampant public displays prove this contention.

Unfortunately Cindy Watts will never see herself as the cause of any of this nor feel any guilt, shame, or remorse. She is the classic female narcissist very controlling, runs the show, chose a very passive ball-less husband who just goes along with whatever she says, and if you read the letter Sandy wrote to police, Cindy didn't like Shanann from day one, didn't think she was good enough for her son even though Shanann bent over backwards trying to impress her in the beginning. My dead brother's wife was just like her, drove my brother to suicide and does not feel an ounce of guilt but instead blames my parents for his death and claims my mother killed him by withholding his meds (lies). The reality is she made my brothers life a living hell left him for another man and took his kids from him and drove him crazy to the point he began crushing and snorting his pain meds just to deal with her tormenting him. She turned him against me, both of our parents, all of his family members and his friends in order to keep him brainwashed and isolated. Cindy Watts purposely and intentionally tormented Shenann she knew the kids had allergies to nuts but intentionally left a bowl of nuts out on the coffee table and bought ice cream with nuts in it to feed the kids in front of her young daughters and to piss off Shenann and the sister tag teamed to do the same. When Shenann told Cindy that it wasn't fair to feed everyone ice cream that her kids couldn't have Cindy minimized it and said the kids have to learn they're not always going to get what they want and it was a teachable moment. Cindy doesn't cry for her grandchildren she cries over her son rotting in prison. She doesn't question her own parenting or his upbringing doesn't blame herself in any way like most parents would do if their son mass murdered his own wife and kids.

Now that the almost 2000 sheets/records of the case files were released, I do think the mistress, Nichole Kessinger contributed to this tragedy somehow. She came forward trying to make people believe she was yet another victim of Watts, when in reality, thank to those files, it can easily be proven that she lied on her statements about when, how she met Chris, how long they had a relationship, etc. I'd say she needs to be further investigated. Can u imagine being his parents and only finding out the truth the night before he is sentenced. 13:14..the question is asked about the Watts family. So glad the answer set the record straight. So many accused them of justifying their son killing his family. His parents were in the dark not understanding wtf happened. I feel terrible for all of them. CW is further torturing these families by leaving so many questions unanswered. Hell is too good for him.

@@debbiesnyder4956 Yeah it's not their place to forgive him. Wtf. Too soon and not their place to do that, especially publicly. Only the victims themselves and maybe Shannan's parents could really say that, sorry. They didn't even like Shannan and they said awful things even when they knew she was dead. Wtf? How do they think it's ok to 'forgive him'?

That made me so sad. The messages out to her friends knowing her husband had done a complete 360 on her. She had no idea after 8 years of him doing everything a father and husband should do. He was out getting it on with Nasty Nickers. If my husband gets out of bed the wrong way I’m questioning him. I couldn’t imagine the pain she suffered from beginning in June. From June to that night/morning he took her life.

He looked at his dad when the lady read his statement . He wouldn't even look at his mum . I think he's angry with her . I don't think she is as innocent as she makes out regarding her relationship with shanann. She didn't like her from the beginning. I think she was always trying to break their relationship. I think the only punishment that you can really inflict on a psychopath is the restoration of their conscience. Outside of that, no amount of suffering will ever make them feel sorry for what they've done. They will only feel sorry for themselves. In my mind, a perfect hell is a place where a person's ability to feel guilt, shame and remorse is restored, and they have to live with the memory, the guilt and the shame of what they did for all eternity.
