@@1Alex925 assume it would work as long as the device is on. With the phone off only iMessages would send as they’re sent to Apple Servers then pushed when the send time hits.

Coming from a S23 Ultra, I've been using iPhone since December 2023 and I like it but I don't understand why some basic things or functions wasn't there before. I can't wait for the stable version of iOS 18.

Not quite as easy as just having bc a number row, but: if you press and hold the “123” button, then slide your finger over to the number you want to use, it will type that number and automatically switch back to the ABC keyboard when you let go. Helps when you only need to type one number at a time

I got a 15 pro max a few months ago and it was cool but didn't really feel like I had a new phone outside of hardware upgrades, but with iOS 18 my phone now actually feels new now. Just found out emulators are allowed on iOS too so I bought a backbone controller which honestly makes my phone feel like a handheld games console! With iOS 18 I was able to add the Delta emulator to my lock screen too so with one click i can jump right back into my favorite game. Playing Ocarina of Time on iPhone + gamepad with official support feels surreal lol. Love what Apple are finally doing!

Another tip I just found: when in Safari viewing open Tab Groups you have, keep swiping right to left and when at the end, the next swipe will open a new Tab Group

wait swiping the lockscreen still opens the camera? I thought you needed the camera shortcut to do that. I'm changing the camera shortcut immediately because sliding is always how I open the camera. Holding the button always felt pointless when it opens faster just sliding the lockscreen

The button is useful because it allows you to access the camera even when the iPhone is locked, whereas you can only slide the lockscreen when the iPhone is unlocked.

Between the 18 update and this video, I finally feel like I got a new phone six months after actually getting it (15 pro). The additional language to a single keyboard ends one of the most frustrating iOS things I’ve dealt with. Adding all the custom app launchers to the control center and having multiple control center pages is fantastic. Maybe it will also fix the garbage autofocus/zoom. 🤞🏽 So many good updates this time! Thanks for the great video.

Bilingual Keyboards don't just suggest both languages, it actually can detect and change language on-the-fly. It's especially noticeable when you are using two different sets of characters. I am using Korean-English bilingual keyboard, and most of the time, it works great.

In photos, I think they should definitely add back the timestamp when scrubbing through the video. Also, when I’m scrolling through individual photos/videos, I realized there is no way to tell what is a photo and what is a video in the bottom bar until you select it for viewing.

I don't really get the bilingual keyboard thing: it was already present in iOS 17, I use english and italian interchangeably every day and suggestions showed up for both languages, however there still was the button to change language (which changed symbols etc) so what is actually new about the bilingual keyboard now?

I noticed when app locking an app with Face ID, your app widget disappear from the Home Screen or widget page. I made a suggestion so they can make a work around. Maybe just say app locked with Face ID, instead of remove the widget without any notice 👀 I was missing a lot of widgets in stacks when I started locking the apps. It didn’t said widgets would be disabled.

Agreed on the camera & photos apps they really need rethinking. The video scrub/edit it terrible now and the photos app seems to have gone backwards. It was much better before or at least give the option to revert to the old viewing system.

i really, really hope apple will bring back the swipe left to undo in calculator and also the feature of repeating the last calculation with the latest result when pressing "=". I have been using that all the time to repetitively add the same amount to calculations and now i have to do it manually every time, which is really annoying when adding larger numbers.

I don’t really get the bilingual keyboard thing. I use both English and Dutch on my iPad all the time and it gives me spelling suggestions and predictive text for both without me changing a single thing. This is not a new feature I don’t think? I have been using it for years.

I am 99% sure that at 21:11 that feature is not new. It already has done the automatic language switching keyboards for me in iOS 17. Now that being said, I had those keyboards added to my list of keyboards already, so I’m not sure if it waspurely for iOS 17 users who had the correct language keyboards added.

Wallet: I wish Apple would provide the ability to manually add any card, ticket, etc. Some items are not available in a bonafide digital form, therefore we must rely on a third party app to store this info. It would be nice to have everything at my fingertips in one, single app.
