Beautiful job. Personally I think the 80series was one of the best Land Cruisers ever made. I had one with the same silver and the paint lasted well. I’ve got a 200series Sahara now and it’s go too but seems a bit fat compared to the 80.

This Land Cruiser was recently sold by Corsetti Cruisers on behalf of the original owners on Bring-a-Trailer for 125,000. I'm guessing this was just before the pre-auction photo session. Perfection.

125k for a Land Cruiser 😮 We can get these older models pretty cheap here in the EU A Colorado here with 100k miles + can be £7 thousand pound £12-14k for a low 60k miles or less.

I worked for a Toyota dealer as a service manager through the 80s and 90s,I was able to get a 93 Land Crusier for my father in law that came in on a trade,it was only a few years old at the time and being in PA,it didn't look that good even back then. I did a fairly comprehensive restoration on it around 2008 or so,he only drove it a few more month's after that as his health prevented him from driving anymore. That is one I regret selling.

Coating is reapplied just a clear layer. They showed it in the early videos on the channel. I’ve been a sub since the low 100s and this is brought up constantly lol. The reason they don’t really put it in in the edit is well it’s just a clear mist lol

What our friend said here is correct! We also sometimes use waxoil coating, which is a strong military grade rust protectant that goes on black and works / looks great

Your work is amazing and the way you show the difference before and after again and again...this is cool but I don't understand why remove the cosmoline that is still doing it's job underneath...those tires have to be at least 10 years old and should be replaced for safety

Totally depends on your machine, size of your ice pellets, relative humidity, how dirty, etc. unfortunately its not as simple as a settings change

It was very likely the stock Cosmoline coating combined with being a west coast car. We use Waxoyl to reprotect the car and it will live another 30+ years!

You can achieve same results with any regular car leather cleaner and a soft brush. But the trick in this video is just that the truck is a very low mileage one and the leather was probably never exposed to direct sunlight!

I have an ohio car from 1997 with 80k miles and it's rust free because it has never been driven in winter. I didn't se the miles on this Land Cruiser, but I'm guessing they're low.
