So, I kinda wanna know about the basic things in pursuing ITS first of all. The types of projects associated etc...

Some examples ITS project can be installations of smart camera that track traffic movement. Speed, weather changes affecting traffic speed. Installing devices along the highways to ensure better traffic flow. Etc. I would suggest doing some research on university ITS programs.
