of course a less object heavy and buggy way to make the split dual would be the method used in moakh, scaled 5x blocks with a 1x block placed at the corner which tricks the game into thinking the icon reaches a platform ans pushes it forward, but i guess it stillw orks

For the ball,you can put a bunch of blue orbs on top,but blocks below it so the top orb is secure,and then you can keep on spamming so the second ball floats.

No I don't think it needs to be at the very start but it needs 0.5x speed and a very specific sequence of blocks and h blocks (as shown in the tutorial)
