I would suggest you to keep your turtles together in that tank ....and shift your kois from outside pond to your turtle tank ...it will free up more space for you .....and yes it is tried and tested ...I did the same ❤

The only issue is turtle get out of pond and in balcony it’s a risk of out and falling of stairs !
