Because after the Covid pandemic many airlines has changed their criteria on the baggage allowance system. I can't able to understand that how many pieces of luggage are allowed with a person. Bingo brother. I'm too in the IT field and yes it's very possible depending on the skills and experience you have. But there is major disadvantage in Gulf in general that many of the IT jobs would be given as contractors and in this case your salary, benefits are way lesser than those who are on permanent payroll which is why I decided to return to India. The main question remains....you need to invest few lakhs to move there for job hunting and is it worth if you end with bad salaries !!!!
