Coleman - 424 Dual Fuel Stove Review.
The 424 is capable of burning Coleman Camp Fuel also known as White Gas and / or Regular Unleaded Gasoline and kicks out 14,000 BTU's with about 7,500 BTU's produced on the main burner and 6,500 BTU's on the secondary burner. Run Time is about Two Hours with Both Burners on High.
We will weigh the pros and cons of using this type of Camp Stove as well as take a look at the various components and construction of this Coleman Stove.
While not as simple to operate as a propane stove this Dual Fuel Stove is a much better choice when choosing a stove to double as an emergency cooking source. With the wide use of Regular Unleaded Gasoline you have more fuel options versus a propane stove. This capability can be a life saver in natural disasters such as hurricanes and blizzards where access to propane may not be possible due to riots, panic buying and or the break down of the local supply chain.
The fuel costs are less than that of a propane stove as well. With one gallon of Camp fuel equalling to that of four and a half portable propane cylinders.
If you read this far you will probably watch the entire video. Please do as I forgot to mention a few things until near the end of the review. I hope the information is useful.
Enjoy!
